The Arizona Drug Card Program said it selected Fry’s Food and Drug Stores to help distribute cards to help the uninsured afford prescription medications.
The program, offered by L & A Services/AZ Health-CARE, was originally designed to fill the gaps in insurance coverage, but opened up as a free program to the uninsured as well. Fry’s Pharmacies have agreed to offer the cards and enroll individuals in the program, particularly to those people who are unable to download a card from the program’s Web site.
