Tempe Marketplace, which started construction on the southwest corner of the loops 101 and 202 northern intersection this week, has already signed up 60 retailers with dozens more negotiating for space.
The open-air shoppingdining-entertainment center is pegged to have 1.3 million square feet of shops, restaurants and attractions by the time it is completed mid-2007.
Dave & Buster’s, an entertainment complex similar to sibling Jillian’s at Desert Ridge Marketplace in northeast Phoenix, will build its first Arizona location in the East Valley retail center.
