Wow! If tipping is this complicated, no wonder more people are eating at home more often. Tipping housekeeping staff never even occurred to me nor anyone else I have spoken to. I thought cleaning the room was included in the cost of the room. This is getting really crazy.
With lame "resort fees," parking fees, tips, baggage fees at the airport, etc, I see more people traveling by RV or just staying home and watching travel DVDs.
