The W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University is recognizing 10 of the state’s biggest achievers — including two East Valley companies — as finalists for this year’s prestigious Spirit of Enterprise Awards.

The awards honor firms for ethics, energy and excellence in entrepreneurship.

This year’s finalists include Gilbert’s Optimal Performance Training, a team of health and fitness professionals that started in a small chiropractor’s office and is now in a large studio, helping high school and college athletes train; and Mesa’s Real Property Management East Valley, a family-owned, multi-million dollar residential property management company that started less than five years ago.

The winners will be announced Nov. 1 at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix. For more information on the Spirit of Enterprise Center, visit www.spiritofenterprise.org.
