Scottsdale Fashion Square has scored another Arizona first and a major draw for hip, well-heeled fashion lovers.
Juicy Couture plans to open a store April 20 in the mall.
The celebrity set frequently sports Juicy’s casual but pricey fashions, typically carried in such stores as Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue.
Juicy counts Jennifer L opez, Jessica Simpson, Beyoncé, Madonna, Ben Affleck and Brad Pitt among its clientele.
“We are so very excited. Juicy is so hot,” said Linda Whitlow, marketing manager at Fashion Square.
Founded in 1994 by a couple of young Los Angeles designers, Juicy Couture specialized in such items as sweats and jeans for men, women and children.
The brand has since added jewelry and accessories, from sunglasses to handbags, and expanded its clothing lines, even to swimwear.
