HONOLULU - Mokulele Airlines has sued the parent of Go airlines, alleging that the company engaged in anti-competitive behavior.
Mokulele says Phoenix-based Mesa Air Group threatened to drive Mokulele out of business by choking off revenue owed under a code-share agreement with the two carriers.
The airline filed suit Tuesday in U.S. District Court. The lawsuit comes less than a month after Mesa Air filed a separate suit against Mokulele in federal court in Phoenix for failing to pay more than $390,000 in fuel costs.
The two airlines joined forces last year to serve smaller Hawaii airports.
But Mokulele last month announced it would expand its interisland service through a venture with Republic Airways.
