Planet Smoothie Cafe has drifted into downtown Mesa’s orbit. The cafe opened at 444 W. Main St. earlier this month. The restaurant, which specializes in ... well, smoothies, also sells wraps, sandwiches, salads and breakfast food.

Ibiza Blue Restaurante has opened at 1964 N. Alma School Road in Chandler.

The eatery, which serves Mexican cuisine and beer, and features live entertainment and karaoke shows, opened late last year.

Desert Ridge Marketplace now offers free wireless Internet service for shoppers.

The shopping center, at Loop 101 and Tatum Boulevard in Phoenix, partnered with the telephone directory provider Dex Media to offer the service.

Starbucks has begun offering breakfast food in some of its 12,000 locations worldwide.

The food is similar to the egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches found at McDonald’s, but the coffee retailer said it will offer fancier ingredients like peppered bacon and sundried tomatoes.

A Someburros Restaurant is coming to the SanTan Village Marketplace in Gilbert. The restaurant, which serves Sonoran-style cuisine, already has three locations in Tempe, Gilbert and Chandler. The eatery is set to open this spring at the 520-acre shopping center at the southwest corner of Williams Field Road and the Santan Freeway.

Gilbert residents will get a Dolce Salon & Spa. The 36,000-square-foot, threestory facility will be located within the Main Street Commons plaza at the southeast corner of Pecos Road and Rome Street.

The company, which owns two other locations in the Valley, is also planing to open a spa in the Borgata on Scottsdale Road and 24th Street in Phoenix. The owner is working with city officials on plans for the proposed Gilbert location.
