Are you 18 to 24-years-old and looking for a summer job? The AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers to Service America) Summer Associates Program is looking for participants.

The City of Mesa Mayor’s Office, Mesa Public Schools, Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix and the City of Phoenix Park and Recreation have joined HandsOn Greater Phoenix in providing nearly 80 summer positions.

Summer associates selected to serve in the mayor’s office will run the Mayor’s Office Summer of Service Program, which are service projects designed to introduce high school students to the variety of service opportunities in the community.

Compensation for Summer Associates includes a $1,174.60 Segal AmeriCorps Education Award or a $230 end of service stipend and a $946 per month living allowance.
