January 19th was truly a ground-breaking day for East Valley car shoppers. Big Two Toyota Scion of Chandler broke ground on what will be one of the largest Toyota/Scion dealerships in America! At over 121,000 square feet, this dynamic new concept in automobile dealerships will create retail space and a very unique car dealership.
The usual attention to customer service will be part of the architecture of the new home of Big Two Toyota/Scion, with great attention paid to making each visit friendly, comfortable, fast, and purposeful. But have you ever heard of a car dealership designed with an indoor Zen Garden retreat?
The new service department will have 68 service bays, a 12,500 square foot parts department and 10 service consultant stations. The new high-tech service facility will be able to quickly and efficiently service thousands of vehicles each month.
“This will be a destination shopping experience,” says Wally Henkel, general manager of Big Two. “Our facility will help ease our customers’ hectic schedules by offering them access to everyday necessities while shopping or servicing a vehicle at Big Two...
“We enlisted the best designers and spent a great deal of time planning for a state-of-the-art facility with sophisticated style and unparalleled amenities,” said Chris Hoeye, dealer principal and president of Big Two.
The goal was to provide an uncompromising car shopping and servicing experience for the customer. Big Two has been a part of the East Valley for the past 69 years. “Big Two was built on family heritage and family focus to provide exceptional products and outstanding customer service”, said Hoeye. “We are committed to taking care of our customers first.”
Their future 15-acre facility on Gilbert Road in Chandler will provide 5 themed showrooms with convenient guest services and comfort stations throughout the outdoor sales lot.
