Here’s a neat package for your automobile that delivers peace-ofmind security plus the convenience of a remote starter and keyless entry.

The FM-870 system from Commando Alarms includes an electronic transmitter/pager with a range of up to 2,500 feet (nearly half a mile) that allows the user to start or stop their gasolineor diesel-engine vehicle (requires a fuel-injected engine and automatic transmission) and engage/disengage the alarm.

The transmitter’s programmable LCD display monitors the status of all possible openings, such as doors, hood and trunk, and will indicate if your engine has been started and will advise if your car has received any hard impacts due to accident or vandalism.

The system will even tell you when you’re out of range or if the transmitter battery needs replacing. An original-equipment-style keyless remote “fob” is also included in the package. The FM-870 lists for $500 and comes with a lifetime warranty.

You can get all the details at commandoalarms.com or by calling the company at 1-800-780-1409.
