Santa Maria, Calif. is the next new destination for Williams Gateway Airport passengers looking for a cheap, hassle-free getaway.
Las Vegas-based Allegiant Air said today it will fly round-trips from Mesa to Santa Maria on Mondays and Fridays, starting Oct. 26.
Flights to the southern California coastal destination, which is perched about half way between San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara, will cost $59 each way during the introductory period.
Allegiant has already announced plans to fly between Williams Gateway and Stockton, Calif.. Other planned routes include Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Chicago Rockford, Ill., Bellingham, Wash., Missoula, Mont., Sioux Falls, S.D. and Rapid City, S.D.
