Mobile Mini said Friday it opened its second branch in Canada.
The Tempe-based portable storage container company said it chose to open a branch in Vancouver, British Columbia because its estimated population of 2.1 million is expected to swell in 2010 when the city hosts the Winter Olympic Games.
Mobile Mini also said it completed the purchase of Site Storage and Equipment and Ace Container & Equipment Sales for $3.8 million. The company said the assets have doubled the size of its Penascola/Mobile branch in the Gulf Coast market.
