PHOENIX - Honeywell is cutting more than 200 jobs in Phoenix. Honeywell Process Solutions, a maker of factory-automation systems, says it will cut 240 jobs at its Phoenix facility over the next 18 months and move most of the jobs overseas.
The cuts affect 180 manufacturing jobs and 60 engineering jobs.
It says the cuts represent about 30 percent of the Honeywell International unit's current 830 workers in Phoenix.
In a memo to employees, Honeywell Process Solutions President Jack Bolick called the move a business decision that will enable the company to become more competitive globally.
