It’s not often that you’ll see an air freshener in this column, but in the case of the Dubz Spinning Rim Auto Air Dispenser, we just couldn’t resist.

It’s not often that you’ll see an air freshener in this column, but in the case of the Dubz Spinning Rim Auto Air Dispenser, we just couldn’t resist. The simple little device that measures 2 1/4 inches across, priced at about $7 each from Koonichi Inc.’s Web site, simply affixes to your air vents. When the air blows out, the wheel’s spokes turn release a scent (from apple, lemon, strawberry, vanilla to Cinnamon, Ocean Breeze and “New Car” to name a few). Oil-based scented refills are available for just $3. There are several different styles and finishes to suit your taste as well as your ride.

For cleaning the air in your vehicle, there’s also the $30 Ionik Auto Air Ionizer that silently removes positively charged pollutants such as pollen, dust, smoke, pet dander and other allergens. If you’re computer is acting up, you can call 718-886-8338.

Do you have an auto-related product the world should know about? Please send your information via our Web form at www.wheelbase.ws/mailbag.html.
