As if owning a brand new Dodge Challenger SRT8 isn’t cool enough, it will soon be even cooler and sound a whole lot better.
As if owning a brand new Dodge Challenger SRT8 isn’t cool enough, it will soon be even cooler and sound a whole lot better. Canada-based MBRP Inc. offers a new dual-exhaust system for Challenger models equipped with the 425-horsepower 6.1-liter V8 that adds a claimed 29 peak horsepower at the rear wheels and 25 pound-feet of torque. In fact, according the chart published at www.mbrp.com, there’s performance gains throughout the entire rev range, too.
Head over to the Web site and you can also hear how the Challenger sounds with MBRP’s system, which is available in two grades of stainless steel beginning at about $1,120 in Canadian funds. Included are original-style (circa 1970) square/slash-cut quad tips, also fashioned from stainless steel.
MBRP has systems for other vehicles all the way up to the Porsche 911 Turbo (there are videos on the Web site of that car as well). You order direct from MBRP or call 888-636-7223 for more information.
