Chandler Councilwoman Trinity Donovan hosts the latest “Chandler in Focus” to talk about the Hermanas Conference, an event that introduces young Latino women to job opportunities in high tech fields.
During the city’s television show, Donovan interviewed the conference organizers, as well as education and technology experts about the impact and importance of this conference. The most recent conference was at Chandler-Gilbert Community College in conjunction with Hispanic Heritage Month, and others will be scheduled throughout the year.

Hi, I was just wondering if this is limited to Latina girls?
My daughter, a blonde and green eyed caucasion would very much like to attend.
We haven't heard of this type of event for White girls?
Are we excluded due to some type of discrimination?
