The Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce will offer local businesses a chance to hear tips and advice from Local First Arizona founder Kimber Lanning at its monthly luncheon Thursday.

Lanning, known as an entrepreneur, arts advocate and community activist, works to cultivate strong, vibrant communities and inspire a higher quality of life in the greater Phoenix area. In 2003, Lanning founded Local First Arizona, a nonprofit which promotes the economic and cultural benefits provided by local businesses.

The luncheon will be held at Queen Creek Library, 21802 S. Ellsworth Road, from noon to 1:15 p.m. The event is free to attend, although lunch provided for a nominal fee. For more information about this and other chamber events, call (480) 888-1709 or visit www.queencreekchamber.org.
