A background checking company will open a 100-employee office in Tempe following a nationwide search for an expansion site. Minneapolis-based Verifications, Inc., provides background screening and drug testing to more than 4,000 companies nationwide, from several Midwest locations. The company expects to hire more than 100 workers within a year of opening its new location on Monday.
Verifications is looking for applicants with customer service, research abilities and data entry skills. Pay ranges from $11-$13 an hour.
