SRP offers free CFL bulbs

Want an easy way to cut down on your electrical bill for free?
SRP is offering customers six free energy efficient CFL bulbs while
they last.
To participate, SRP customers can complete an online form at
savewithsrp.com and SRP will mail customers two A-shaped, two globe
and two spiral bulbs at no charge. Energy Star qualified CFLs use
up to 72 percent less energy and last nearly 10 times longer than
standard incandescent bulbs.

Funny, I have been using CFLs in certain areas of my home for many years. My experience has been more like 3 times as long, at 5-10 times the cost. Not to mention the mercury problem. And "free"? Really? My energy bill payments didn't pay for the bulbs?
