As promised, On The Road recaps Berge Ford’s very own Jeff Kogan's Hollywood debut on Wheel Of Fortune! And the first 2006 Sonata made in U.S.A. makes its debut at Hyundai of Tempe.

Jeff made his television debut this past Tuesday on ABC-15’s Wheel Of Fortune! Kogan, of Phoenix, started the long audition process for Wheel Of Fortune back in December 2003. Last January he was called by the show’s producers and invited to fly out for a February taping of the popular game show. And Jeff knew his stuff.

“Everything just went my way”, Kogan remarked, “It takes knowledge of the game but also a lot of luck is required to accomplish what I did. I truly feel very fortunate.” Kogan won 5 of the seven rounds which catapulted him into the high stakes bonus round. It was in the bonus round that Jeff guessed the solution to that puzzle as well. His total game earnings? A not too shabby $70,000, nearly all in cash.

With some of his winnings Kogan bought himself a new car and with some telling license plates to boot, “I 1 A 4 CHN”. Congratulations, Jeff. Local boy makes good!

Born in the U.S.A. Hyundai of Tempe, located at 8050 S.Autoplex Loop (I-10 and Elliot Roads), proudly announces the debut of the new 2006 Sonata. The all new 2006 V6-powered Sonata will be the first Hyundai to roll out of the Montgomery, Alabama assembly plant. The Sonata has been Hyundai’s best selling nameplate for nearly a decade. In 2005 the Sonata won J.D. Power’s award for #1 in initial quality for a midsize. For 2006 the Sonata has been redesigned offering two new engine choices, three new transmission choices, an improved interior and even better road manners.

With 121.7 cubic feet of interior room, the Sonata has been redesigned for an American audience. It now boasts a roomier interior than that of the Accord, Toyota Camry, Nissan Altima and Chevrolet Malibu. The Sonata’s trunk also boasts 16.3 cubic feet of storage space.

And in continuing proof of good value is Hyundai’s commitment to excellence with its popular 60,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty AND a 10 year or 100,000 mile power train warranty. Hyundai’s attention to detail and quality have not gone unnoticed by the car buying public. Bob Cosmai, Hyundai’s U.S. president and CEO, said 57.6 percent of Hyundai customers buy another Hyundai.

Come visit the Hyundai of Tempe showroom. It’s open Monday through Friday, 8am to 9pm, Saturday 8am-7pm, and Sunday, 11 am to 6pm. The service bays are open from 7:30am to 6pm, Monday through Friday, and 7:30-3pm Saturdays. For more information call Hyundai of Tempe at (480) 961-4800.
