Stream Global Services, operator of nearly 50 call center facilities worldwide — including two Phoenix locations — is hosting a pair of open house events as part of its summer recruitment efforts, in hopes of hiring more than 400 new employees this season.
On six dates at two locations (Phoenix’s South Mountain and Biltmore areas), Stream Global Services will interview and hire for technical support and customer services positions assisting three of Stream’s global clients, according to a press release.
At 1801 E. Camelback Road, Suite 11, open house events will take place June 20 (8 a.m. to noon), June 22 (8 a.m. to noon), June 25 (8 a.m. to noon) and July 6 (8 a.m. to noon). At 4611 E. Baseline Road, the open house recruitment will occur June 20 (1 p.m. to 4 p.m.), June 27 (3 p.m. to 6 p.m.) and June 30 (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.).
Interviewers will be available on site, and free refreshments will be available. Visit http://careers.stream.com or www.facebook.com/streamglobalservices to find out more about the Valley openings and to apply online.

I see eTelecare has rebranded itself.
Maybe they can send more jobs offshore as Stream Global Services than they did as eTelecare.

Even if it was to be minimum wage, who cares? You make it sound as if it was a bad thing. The people who will be applying for these jobs are already struggling. I'm glad to see at least a few people will be able to support themselves again to some degree and hopefully be removed from the dependancy of unemployment and food stamps.

Great. More minimum wage jobs that allow people to barely get by.
