McDonald’s restaurant at 358 E. University in Mesa will host a grand re-opening from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, to celebrate the restaurant’s extensive remodel.
According to a news release, the energy-efficient building now features the new McDonald’s restaurant design, “reflecting a contemporary décor that makes a comfortable and inviting dining experience for customers.” And, the drive-thru has also been enlarged to accommodate a side-by-side two-lane ordering system.
The grand re-opening celebration will include an official ribbon cutting ceremony, an appearance by Ronald McDonald, and face painting, balloon artistry, and a magic show.
“We are proud to re-invest in the Mesa community,” Brad Teufel, McDonald’s owner, said in a news release.
