PHOENIX (AP) — The start of a Tempe legislator's trial on federal criminal charges is being postponed again to give his defense time to prepare.
Democratic Rep. Ben Arredondo had already been postponed from July 3 to Sept. 5 for a similar reason. The latest delay approved by a federal judge is until Nov. 27.
Arredondo has pleaded not guilty.
He is accused of soliciting and accepting sports and event tickets from FBI undercover agents and of disclosing confidential information while a Tempe City Council member.
