Cooler-than-normal temperatures will continue through the week and last at least through the weekend with a possibility of rain, according to information from the National Weather Service.
A Pacific low-pressure system riding in from California is expected to keep temperatures below normal, with the high on Tuesday expected to be 67 degrees, according to Keith Kincaid, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Phoenix.
The high is expected to be 65 on Wednesday, 64 on Thursday and 69 on Friday, with lows on those days in the mid-40s, though it will remain mostly sunny.
“We’re not looking at any significant changes expected until the weekend,” Kincaid said.
During the overnight hours on Saturday going into early Sunday, there will be a 40 percent chance of rain, with Sunday’s high dropping down to 58, Kincaid said.
The mid-60s temperatures throughout the remainder of the week are about 10 degrees below the norm of about 74 this time of year.
