Tuesday has been another chilly day in the Valley of the Sun.

Early morning lows bottomed out in the 20s Valley-wide, with Sky Harbor hitting 29 degrees.

That marked the fourth consecutive freeze officially in Phoenix, making it the longest stretch of freezes at the airport since December 1988.

Although highs are looking warmer today than yesterday, we will still be about 15 to 20 degrees below normal with Valley temperatures maxing out in the upper 40s to near 50 degrees.

Our Freeze Warning that's been in effect since Saturday remains in place until 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Most Valley spots will drop to the 20s again. At Sky Harbor, we are anticipating a low of 32 degrees, right at the freezing point.

Temperatures will bounce get back into the upper 50s to low 60s Wednesday afternoon, as a ridge of high pressure starts to build in from the west.

That ridge will keep our skies sunny and our high temperatures in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees starting Thursday and continuing through the weekend.
