PHOENIX - Gov. Janet Napolitano has now picked all seven members of the state Transportation Board, a panel that oversees state transportation planning and decides funding priorities for highway projects.
Napolitano picked Salt River Project employee Victor Flores to replace former state legislator Joe Lane of Phoenix as a board member representing Maricopa County.
Flores is currently president of the Arizona-Mexico Commission.
His appointment to a seven-year term on the Transportation Board is subject to Senate confirmation.
Lane was former Gov. Jane Hull's last appointee on the board.
