The Sun City Concert Band will feature David Hickman at the “Tribute to Sousa” concert at 2 and 7 p.m. Feb. 27 in the Sundial Auditorium, 103rd Avenue and Boswell Boulevard in Sun City.
Tickets will go on sale for $7 in the lobby of the Sundial Auditorium the week of Feb. 21 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. Tickets at the door will be $8.
Hickman is considered one of the world’s preeminent trumpet virtuosos and has performed more than 2,000 solo appearances around the world as a recitalist or guest soloist with nearly 500 different orchestras.
His tours have taken him to Japan, Korea, Thailand, Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Austria, Canada, Mexico, Switzerland and virtually every major American city.
