Army’s musical ambassadors perform outdoors in SCG

The Pentagon Winds woodwind quintet is an ensemble of musicians who will perform an outdoor concert at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Sun City Grand, 19753 N. Remington Drive, Surprise.

These musicians are part of the United States Army Field Band and are the “Musical Ambassadors of the Army.” They will perform a variety of chamber music classics, with musicians playing flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and horn.

Seats will be set up for spectators, or bring chairs and grab a cup of coffee and a doughnut at Birt’s Cafe. Seating for the performance starts at 9:30 a.m.
