The Old Adobe Mission at Brown Avenue and First Street celebrates its 75th anniversary.

A series of historical and educational events are planned:

• Sunday, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Scottsdale’s Religious Heritage Day — Choirs from four churches representing Scottsdale’s early religious communities will present their favorite hymns and share their history through a photographic display.

• Feb. 24, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Celebrating the Architecture and Art of the Mission — Experts will present Spanish Colonial Revival architecture and how to make adobe, stained-glass windows and mosaics.

These events are free. Parking is available in the Civic Center parking garage. For more information, call (480) 946-0673 or visit www.olphaz.com.
