A Phoenix police officer who was serving with the Army National Guard in Afghanistan has been killed in action, according to Phoenix police.
Staff Sgt. Thomas Rabjohn, 39, was killed on Saturday during military operations in the Wardak Province of Afghanistan, according to information from Phoenix police.
Rabjohn had been a member of the Phoenix Police Department since 2002. He worked at the police department's central city precinct. Rabjohn is survived by his wife, three young daughters and other family members.
