I so agree. Being a store owner for 26 years (now closed- due to economy) it is so important to patronize the local merchants. So much more goes back to the locals, including donations made by merchants for local agendas. I tried as a business owner to buy USA but as years progressed on that became very hard so had to buy foreign goods to keep my store full and remain competitive. Manufacturing jobs were sucked out of the U.S. Within a couple of years the merchandise had a decline in quality. Whether it is localism or just plain USA keeps a few more Ameicans employed.
