The traffic lights at a busy Scottsdale intersection were turned off for most of the day Thursday while city crews performed emergency repairs on them.
Scottsdale police began conducting motorists through the intersection of Indian School Road and Goldwater Boulevard, one of the gateways to downtown Scottsdale, about 7 a.m., and returned service to the signals about 3 p.m., according to the city's Traffic Management Systems Department.
It wasn't immediately known what was wrong with the traffic lights.
