Scottsdale police arrested two Phoenix women on suspicion of burglary after the pair returned to allegedly steal items out of an unoccupied house for the second time within two hours.

Jamie Broderick, 26, and Kari Grissam, 31, were arrested shortly after 6 p.m. Wednesday after a Paradise Valley police officer pulled them over upon receiving a description of them from Scottsdale police.

A neighbor told police he spotted the pair taking items out of the house in the 4600 block of North 64th Street about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and saw them loading items into the back of a white sedan. Broderick and Grissam returned to the house about two hours later in a blue pickup truck, police said.

The owner of the home, who lives in Portland, Ore., said he would come to Arizona to see what had been taken, police said.
