Scottsdale Healthcare's baby-signing class is designed to lessen some frustration and improve communication between parent and child nonverbally.
The four-week course, "Sprouting New Beginnings: Sign, Music, Play," incorporates sign language, music and playtime for parents and their infants and toddlers.
The program will be 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Sept. 8, 15, 22 and 29 at Destination Maternity, 18560 N. Scottsdale Road, Phoenix. The cost is $90 for the series.
