This year's annual Pueblo Grande Museum Indian Market will be open Dec. 10-11 in Phoenix.
The market will include Native American food from various vendors, children's activities, and Native American fine art and entertainment.
A world champion hoop dancer will show his skills, and there will be demonstrations on how to create traditional bows and arrows, make hand-woven baskets and turn raw wool into spun yarn.
Sunday events will include a fashion show, showcasing Native American designers who mix traditional Native design with contemporary design.
The market is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11. Admission is $5 and free for children younger than 12.
The museum is located at 4619 E. Washington St., Phoenix. Free public parking is available at the lot on the north side of Washington, but people are encouraged to take the light rail, using the 44th Street and Washington stop.
