Computer firm seeks 'e-waste' recycling

MacMedia Inc., a Apple reseller and service provider, will collect old, used and broken electronic equipment during an "E-Waste" Recycling Day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 6 in downtown Scottsdale

 

Donated items include computers, printers, fax machines, cell phones, TVs, monitors, cables and adapters, city officials said.

MacMedia will donate 10 cents for every pound of recycled goods to Phoenix Children's Hospital. Donors will receive a voucher for a tax donation. The collection site is at 6928 E. Fifth Ave.
