An Amber Alert was issued Friday afternoon by Phoenix police after a 5-year-old girl was reportedly kidnapped from an apartment complex at 12430 N. 19th Ave.

According to witnesses, a man was seen photographing children at the complex and left with the girl. The man is described as white, 30 to 40 years old, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-9 and 180 to 190 pounds. He has light-colored hair and was wearing a gray shirt and peach, knee-length shorts. He was carrying a camera.

The man left the complex at about 2:15 p.m. headed southbound in a brown Ford pickup, possibly a Ford Ranger, with Arizona license plate 3HG774.

The girl has red shoulder-length hair and freckles and was wearing a pink top, blue pants and pink-and-white tennis shoes at the time of the kidnapping.

Anyone with additional information is asked to contact Phoenix police at (602) 262-6151.
