Bone health lecture to be given in Scottsdale

Registered nurse Shari Robinson of Scottsdale Healthcare’s Bone Health Program will deliver a talk “Boning up on Osteoporosis” at 3 p.m. Monday at Freedom Inn at Scottsdale, 15436 N. 64th St.

Robinson is a bone health coordinator. She helps evaluate and develop programs promoting healthy bones.

Robinson will discuss some basic facts of osteoporosis, typical signs and symptoms, and steps individuals can take to slow or prevent this disease, including screenings, exercise and nutritional advice.
