Residents invited to workshop for airpark plan

Scottsdale is inviting community members to participate in a workshop July 16 to help develop a long-range plan for the Greater Scottsdale Airpark. The workshop will be held from 6:30 p.m. to8:30 p.m. at the Scottsdale Airport Terminal, 15000 N. Airport Drive.

Residents invited to workshop for airpark plan

Scottsdale is inviting community members to participate in a workshop July 16 to help develop a long-range plan for the Greater Scottsdale Airpark. The workshop will be held from 6:30 p.m. to8:30 p.m. at the Scottsdale Airport Terminal, 15000 N. Airport Drive.

This is the latest step in a process to develop a plan that will guide airpark-area development for the next several decades. In May, more than 100 community members participated in workshops to discuss their visions for the area.

High-pollution advisory issued for today

A high-pollution advisory for ozone has been issued for today. The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality is advising active children and adults and people with lung disease to reduce prolonged or heavy outdoor exertion.
