As part of its 50th anniversary, the Phoenix Zoo is inviting children to draw and send birthday wishes for a contest. The winning artwork could be included in an exhibit that will open in August at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport’s Terminal 4. The exhibit will showcase the zoo’s conservation efforts, as well as animal-inspired art.
The contest is open to children ages 3 to 17, and artwork must be submitted on an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. Original works of art are preferred, but digital files in JPEG or TIFF format, saved on CD or DVD will also be accepted. Entries may be mailed or dropped off to the Phoenix Zoo by June 1. For more information, contact the zoo at (602) 273-1341 or visit http://evtnow.com/2uz online.
