Two free presentations on Continuous Chest Compressions, a new resuscitation technique, will be made by Scottsdale firefighters Saturday and Sept. 8, the Scottsdale Fire Department announced.
CCC is "easy, safe and does not require mouth-to-mouth contact," fire officials said in a statement.
The presentations will be 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Granite Reef Senior Center, 1700 N. Granite Reef Road, and from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 8 at the Horizon Community Center, 15444 N. 100th St.
Advance registration for the classes is strongly encouraged, although walk-ins will be welcomed. Register at www.scottsdaleaz.gov/fire/ccc-cpr_class.
