Temps are climbing, and so is the usage of area public water facilities and backyard pools. That means the chance of an accidental drowning is up, too.
Valley of the Sun YMCA locations, with the help of Chandler-based Fulton Homes, is using this Saturday to host a network of CPR demonstrations.
From 10 a.m. to noon, all 15 Valley YMCA branches (including facilities in Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Ahwatukee, San Tan Valley and two in Mesa) will demonstrate proper CPR techniques as part of Fulton Homes’ “Life Saver Saturday.”
