Kyrsten Sinema, candidate for Congress in Arizona’s new 9th District, released her Arizona Jobs Plan recently, calling on Congress to “get to work so that we can get our economy growing again.”

The plan is built on 12 broad planks of Congressional action, which would lead to greater stability and spur job creation for the long term.

The plan includes:

• Keeping taxes low for working and middle class families, while letting the Bush tax cuts expire for the richest 2 percent.

• Making the Research and Development tax credit permanent.

• Passing tax credits for companies that hire veterans.

• Restoring the Glass-Steagall Act to ensure that the financial services industry does not cause another economic crisis.
