Once upon a time, I heard a wise man say: "Communism and capitalism cannot coexist." The man was a personal friend of V. I. Lenin and was living with him in October of 1917, when Lenin's Bolsheviks forcibly overthrew the quasi-republic of Russia, which had been established in May of 1917. The man was also a friend of Mahatma Ghandi's. He'd visit him while he was jailed in India. The man was a professor of mine in 1954, my senior year in college. He was born and raised in Vienna, Austria and was one of only four men in the world who was licensed to practice psychiatry without having his M. D. Reason being - Sigmund Freud was his mentor.

He conducted a seminar course that I attended. When he spoke, his students listened. Believe it or not, he didn't espouse communism or socialism. He understood their siren call and the trap, which they laid for an unsuspecting public.

Our nation is the unsuspecting public. Thanks to our leaders, we have fallen victim to the wiles of socialism. Our education system is controlled by socialist progressives who have educated today's generation, and the preceding two generations. I witnessed the phenomenon while a college student from 1950 to 1954. In those days, the educators were more subtle than they are now. They had to be because we the people weren't ready for socialism. FDR had laid the groundwork with his acceptance of Keynesian socialist economics, but the general public hadn't swallowed the bait. That didn't happen for another 40 years when President Nixon officially took our monetary system off the gold standard and declared: "We're all Keynesians now." Since then, the momentum of socialism has gained and has placed us on the precipice of a national disaster. A disaster that will destroy our fiscal and monetary systems, as well as our national raison d'etre.

So ... remember in November! You have the choice of voting for freedom or slavery. Please make the correct choice. The slavery of socialism doesn't work. Just ask the North Koreans, the Venezuelans, the Cubans, the Mexicans, the Russians, and others. Even the Brits are beginning to see the light of the torch of capitalism ... again. Must be a cyclical thing.
