The daughter of Maricopa County Supervisor Fulton Brock pleaded not guilty in court Thursday to charges she had sex with the same boy her mother was arrested for abusing.

Twenty-one-year-old Rachel Brock appeared for an arraignment in Maricopa County Superior Court.

Her next court date is scheduled for May 13.

Meanwhile, The Arizona Republic says prosecutors believe their case against Rachel Brock is stronger because they have a letter written by her mother Susan Brock.

The Republic reports a deputy Pinal County attorney said Susan Brock wrote that her daughter acknowledged sex acts with the boy.

Rachel Brock was rearrested Friday and booked on seven counts of misconduct with a minor and one count of furnishing obscene material to a minor.

Susan Brock pleaded guilty to charges in January to having trysts with the boy between August 2007 and last October.
