The 2012 MLK Basketball Classic will be at four state venues this year. While none of the local Ahwatukee Foothills teams will participate, many of their in-season opponents are included in the event.
There will be games at Mesa Community College, Arizona State, Arizona and the new Grand Canyon facility.
The games at MCC will be Saturday, Jan. 14 and are limited to area junior colleges. The high schools game are played Monday, Jan. 16 at the other three venues.
