Resident to run South African ultra marathon

Ahwatukee Foothills resident Scott Kipp is traveling to South Africa and will run in the ultra marathon called the Compadres Marathon on June 3. Scott, 58, has previously run in the Boston Marathon and this will be his longest ultra marathon at 56 miles.
