Desert Vista junior Alex Bambic won the Cadet 220-pound weight class at the Preseason nationals in Iowa.
In the finals, the Arizona defending state champion at 215-pounds pinned Jordan Naughton (Perry Meridian Wrestling Club) of Indiana in 5 minutes and 43 seconds.
