The Sun Lakes Parkinson's Support Group will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, in the Mirror Room at Sun Lakes Country Club, 25601 N. Sun Lakes Blvd., Sun Lakes.
The guest speaker will be one of the gifted doctors from the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center, which is part of the Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix.
All Parkinson's patients, their caregivers and families are invited to attend the monthly meetings to learn more about the latest medical advances and resources available in the local community. The group meets at 1 p.m. on the third Thursday, September through June. There is no charge to attend and participate in this group.
