Girl Scouts-Arizona Cactus-Pine Council's (GSACPC) Camps Maripai, Shadow Rim Ranch and Willow Springs have just been accredited for another three years with the American Camp Association (ACA).
ACA accreditation is verification from the American Camp Association that these camps are recognized by courts of law and government regulators as the standards of the camp industry.
The ACA accreditation program has a 50-year history and is continually evaluated and updated to reflect current best practice in camps.
For parents, the ACA-accredited camp sign symbolizes excellence, accountability and ongoing commitment to the children served.
GSACPC camps offer a unique experience for girls including swimming, archery, primitive camping, cabin and program shelter activities, hiking, canoeing, low and high challenge course, a climbing tower, ecology and nature studies.
